Born in Amarah, Iraq 1953

Khedher obtained a BA in art and design from the academy of Fine Arts, Baghdad University, 1976; and a BA in fine arts from Quebec University, Montreal, Canada, 1994.

In addition, he studied painting in Madrid University and Barcelona University, etching and printmaking at the Barcelona municipal institute, Spain 1980-5; and silkscreen at Concordia University, Montreal in 1987-91.

He has exhibited his artwork in Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Dubai, Lebanon, Morocco, Switzerland, UK, France, Italy, Sweden, Russia, the United States of America, Canada, many solo and collective exhibitions around the world. Collection of his artwork in the British Museum in London, Museum of Civilization in Ottawa, the National art museum of Jordan.

Khedher has given lectures on history of art and has organized many workshops as well participated in several international events.

Speeks several languages, Arabic, English, Spanish, German, French, Italian. He lives and works in Switzerland since 1994.
